But cleanses are intense & about deprivation right? They don’t have to be.
My experience with cleansing has been supportive & nourishing. To me, it makes more sense to focus on the foods that you want more of, not the foods that you can’t have. Actually in this cleanse there is no such thing as foods you can’thave. You decide how deep you want to go…if that means reducing caffeine & increasing veggies – that is your cleanse. Or if that means eliminating sugar & doing a juice fast, that is your cleanse. Our body is smart – and the best cleanse we can do is one that listens to our bodies’ needs.
So why cleanse:
- Even if you think you’re healthy, we’re exposed to a vast # of toxins everyday… everywhere (air, water, plastics, nail polish, household cleaners, alcohol, processed &bbq meats, non-organic foods…)
- Toxins get stored in our fat cells & disrupt our hormones & natural weight regulation process… this means the accumulation of toxins in our body can make us tired, moody… and fat!
- When toxins build up our natural detoxification processes don’t work properly, and we reabsorb toxins we should be releasing creating a vicious cycle

Sign-up generally includes participation in an email support group. We’ll support each other with: daily check-ins, the ability to ask & answer questions through the cleanse, and a final reflection on our experiences.
Your concerns:
- You’re traveling. You can start the cleanse any time you like or you can make the best of your diet while your travel. Cooking is not required during the cleanse. There are ways to find healthy options on the road.
- You hate to cook & don’t have time. While preparing your own meals may be best, you can follow the cleanse guidelines when eating out as well.
- There’s going to be too much temptation around me. Consider that it’s just a short period of your life. And whatever it is you think you need to indulge in will still be waiting for you after the cleanse. The others in the group will be there to support you. Or be gentle with yourself & realize that cleansing doesn’t have to mean perfection & just doing the best you can under the circumstances is all you can ask for. I’m here to support you with the degree of accountability that you want.
- You’re convinced you’ll never make it through. That’s why we’ve got the support group – to motivate each other. The first few days can be challenging, but you’ll be surprised how much light energy you can have during a cleanse. Depending on the season I recommend 11 – 21 days, but depending on your current health (and what’s happening in your life these days) you can choose do a 7 day cleanse instead. Remember you’re in control of the process.
- You’re scared of headaches and feeling tired & crabby – besides how will you get through the workday? It’s true, some people experience withdrawl symptoms, but in working with me you’ll learn tips to reduce those symptoms. Not everyone experiences these symptoms, but if you do they are signs that your body is releasing the toxins. Symptoms generally last a day or 2, and after you’ll feel soo much better! Again withdrawl symptoms will be dependent on your current health, and how deep YOU want to take the cleanse. In this kind of supportive cleanse we’re not focused on deprivation…so you might be surprised at how good you feel!

Example of an 11 day cleanse:
- Pre- Cleanse: overview, cleanse preparation (grocery shopping, etc)
- Day 1: start 7 day cleanse – start date is flexible
- Day 8*: optional juice fast
- Day 9 – 11: sealing the deal & easing back into usual eating habits
- Finish Cleanse: feeling great!
